“This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.” – John 15:12

Dear Friends,

Jesus taught us to love one another and that means everyone. You may not like or agree with that person, but we need to love them anyway. We have had to endure all kinds of things this past year, and through it all, my hope is that we’ve learned something about ourselves and how important it is for us to continue loving on each other and staying connected.

One major way of staying connected and loving one another is through service. You can show your love while staying connected and it won’t take up all your time. In fact, something as little as one hour a month can help with a Parish Life event or at the Food Pantry we partner with at Community of Faith. You can also get connected by helping on the Building and Grounds grass mowing team or tending a flower bed through the “Adopt a Flower Bed” Program. Join the Worship Ministry as we plan worship for those in person and online. Come learn how to help the Altar Guild set the Lord’s Table each and every week. Interested in technology or social media? Help us get the word out on our social media account or volunteer one Sunday a month on the Stream Team and help make live stream worship happen! You can find all of these opportunities and more at: EpiphanyEC.org/BeTheChurch

Epiphany has motto: God loves you. No Exception! That says to me that we are the “Jesus People” and with that we do our best in so many ways to love one another and stay connected. So, keep on fulfilling Jesus’ commandment, love when and where you can to all those in our community.  And finally, don’t forget, Mother’s Day will be here soon (this Sunday)! To mothers and all those that are mother figures, Happy Mother’s Day!

Peace to all,
