Fellowship Ministry

Joining socially to relax and have fun, to share meals and to play are important to the care and feeding of our Christian faith. We have regular fellowship after worship on Sundays. We also offer special gatherings through the year like parish picnics that celebrate the start and end of the “program year” (September – May), and various “pop up” or seasonal opportunities to gather, like around a grill or a fire pit.

If you would like to learn more about fellowship or want to offer some of your talent and energy to the fellowship ministry, please contact Parish Life.

Newcomers Ministry

Stepping into a church for the first time is a brave act even when you are familiar with church and are just visiting, or when you are looking for a new church. It is a particularly brave act if you have not been to church in a long time, have been wounded by the church, or have never been to church.

We hope, with God’s help, to warmly welcome all who step through our doors for worship and any of the events we offer. We aim for radical hospitality and want the God of love that we know to be shared.

If you would like to learn more this thing called “church” or want to offer some of your talent and energy to the welcoming of newcomers, please contact Parish Life.

Adult Formation

God’s work in us is lifelong. We offer a myriad of opportunities to participate with God in that work so that our daily lives, the choices we make in how we are with each other and in the world, further reflect the deepening of our spiritual grounding. These opportunities include the study of scripture, culture, and current events, retreats, and special program and seasonal offerings. Look in the eNews and Sunday bulletins, look in special notices, and catch the Sunday announcements to know about current and upcoming offerings.

Are you interested in deepening your faith and its practice in the “every day” of life? Consider signing up for an 11-session series called Sacred Ground. The gatherings are on Wednesday evenings, 6:30-8:00 pm about twice a month from September – February. The dates are: 9/13 (Welcome), 9/20, 9/27, 10/4, 10/11, 11/15, 12/13, 1/10, 1/17, 1/24/2024, 2/7/2024. Sacred Ground is “a film- and readings-based dialogue series on race, grounded in faith” and shared in community. Click here for the full schedule. If you want to learn more, you can reach out to Rev. Dina or visit: Sacred Ground – The Episcopal Church.

Meal Warriors

The Meal Warriors Ministry provides temporary meal support for members coping with illness, recent hospitalization, the birth of a new baby, or any need identified by the church member. This team receives meal requests and invites the Epiphany community to assist by pledging to make or take a meal to someone in need.

If you find yourself in need, please contact Parish Life.
