Children, Youth & Family Minister: Dana Hale
Vestry Liaison: Melissa Woodhead
Team Leader: Elaine Inn
All children from age three through fifth grade are invited to attend Sunday School during the school year. We offer three classes that are designed to meet children at their developmental stages. Each class has a team of two volunteer teachers that will work with the children throughout the year. The two lead teachers alternate months to help foster confidence, trust and consistency. Also in the classroom are teaching assistants who help the leader facilitate the lesson and encourage imagination, exploration, and curiosity. Sunday school is held from 9:45 – 10:35am, and children return to their families at the Peace. There is no Sunday School on the first Sunday of each month due to Family Worship.
Preschool – Kindergarten
Preschool – Kindergarten meets in Room 105 for Godly Play, led by Rebecca Carroll and Dana Hale. Godly Play is a creative, imaginative approach to Christian formation and spiritual guidance. Godly Play practice invites us into Scripture and teaches us to listen for God and to make authentic and creative responses to God’s call in our lives.
