Meet Our Staff

The Reverend Dina Widlake

Rector
E-mail The Reverend Dina Widlake

The Reverend Dina Widlake began her tenure as Rector of Epiphany Episcopal Church in February 2022. Dina is from Northern Virginia and holds a B.A. in International Relations from Florida International University, a M.A. in Human Resource Development, from Marymount University, and a Master of Divinity from Virginia Theological Seminary. Before seminary, Dina enjoyed a 20+ year career in performance consulting for various market segments: security, military, defense, financial, and medical.

Raised in the Catholic Church, Dina joined the Episcopal Church in 1997 where she was spiritually fed by the space the Church made for questions and wondering.

Dina served her seminary internships at St. David’s Church in Ashburn and The Falls Church Episcopal in Falls Church. After ordination, Dina served as Assistant Rector to St. John’s Church in McLean. There, she focused on Christian formation across generations, mission and outreach, and pastoral care which intersected well with her passions for interfaith work and biblical storytelling.

Dina lives in Great Falls and has two sons: Nathan and Evan. Nathan is a graduate of Elon University with a B.S.B.A. in Business Analytics and minor in Finance. Evan graduates from Penn State University in May 2023 with a B.S. in Industrial Engineering.
