Dear Friends at Epiphany,

I have been attending Epiphany for about four years. During that time I have been active with Sunday Circle, Food for Thought, Hot Meals, and being a lay reader. I was also confirmed last year.  Do I think church can be fun? Yes!

The first time I went to Epiphany I felt it was relaxed and welcoming, and also fun. Being part of Epiphany is still fun. Everyone is easy going. I like that you can be casual and at home at Epiphany. Sunday Circle is a nice way to get together with people and chat about what’s happening in our lives. It’s laid back and inviting. It’s also nice to have the leaders as people I can look to for guidance. We have also taken fun trips as well.

It’s been good being involved in giving to others. Even though I’m busy with school and sports, there are opportunities that I can choose from to help others. It’s fun getting out into the community to help others. It’s fun to help teach the younger kids Sunday School. It’s fun to get to know new people.

I imagine Epiphany will stay fun, and that’s a good thing. Fun means enjoyment, and I think most of us enjoy spending time as part of the Epiphany community. Fun can mean pleasure, and I think that by providing services to others, we are hopefully bringing some pleasure to their lives. Fun can mean lively. We are a lively group. Therefore I imagine Epiphany will stay a FUN place.
