Scouting for Food

Dear Friends,

This past Saturday, some Epiphany and Community of Faith members, our Scouts and other Scouts in the area came together for this year’s Scouting for Food program. Last week in the Hump Day message I announced it was happening. And it HAPPENED!

Can you find some of our folks in the picture above? Maybe our youngest helper? The Food Pantry received more than 600 boxes and crates with over 23,000 pounds of food! It was a beautiful day. What a blessing to the community the Food Pantry is.

Did you know the Food Pantry distributes groceries to between 150 – 200 families a week? Did you know there are food pantry pick-up opportunities each week? There are also putting food away opportunities! For example, do you see anyone from our congregation picking up food or putting it away for this coming weekend? I’ll make it easy for you!
