… I will know that you stand firm in the one Spirit, striving together as one for the faith of the gospel… – Phillipians 1:27

Dear Friends,

Some people will say that “one” is the loneliest number. I disagree! When I hear “one,” I think of many things, and none of them make me feel lonely: one God, one Spirit, one faith, one baptism, one church. In fact, all of these things make me realize just how much I am NOT alone! This is why I was so pleased to hear the theme of this year’s stewardship campaign – One Together! Because as One Together, we can be all God calls us to be. How awesome it is to celebrate who we are as the Church on the Corner!

Beginning this Sunday, and over the coming weeks, join us for worship online at 10 AM and hear from members of our one church family. Listen to their messages of hope and love as they detail what Epiphany means to them and how we, as One Together, work to follow Jesus Christ’s teachings and put those teachings into action.

Then join us Sunday evening at 7 PM as Epiphany hosts a Drive-In Prayer Service and Food Drive in the parking lot. We will safely stay in the parking lot as we worship and pray together as one community. Stay in your vehicle or bring a folding chair. Masks or face coverings are a must. All are welcome to attend! The food drive welcomes non-perishable food items in support of the food pantry at Community of Faith, UMC. You can find more information about most needed items on our website: EpiphanyEC.org/drive-in

As One Together, we will continue to be the Church on the Corner, where God Loves You. No Exceptions.

Peace to you all,

Susan Buckner
